WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU SELL TO US
- We buy items that are in excellent condition (no stains, holes, rips, damages or any missing parts) and are current styles. We accept clothing that is freshly laundered and neatly folded. Clothing must be in laundry baskets and storage totes or plastic bins. We cannot accept any clothing in plastic bags, trash bags, or paper bags.
- We do not accept any clothing with a moth ball, storage or smoke odor.
- We accept toys and baby equipment that is clean with no broken or missing pieces. We will never buy expired car seats or any items on recall. Please check with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission for recall information, visit: https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls
TIPS TO OUR SELLERS:
1) In order for us to provide accurate pricing information, we would need to see and inspect your item/s in person.
2) Find out what your item currently retails for at Walmart. Again, please assume that we will be selling them at half of its current retail price but, our offer cannot be more than half of our final sale price.
3) In order to get more cash, please ask about our consignment offer. PLEASE NOTE: This may also depend on the item/s you're selling. We do not accept small items like clothes or accessories on consignment.
4) To get a better offer for your items, bring them in clean and in gently used condition with no signs of over usage.

Selling Policy / Guidelines for Seller:
✅ Sort all your children’s clothing (Preemie up to Youth 14) according to the sizes posted on our website https://thebabyresale.com/what-we-buy.html to know what we’re buying during your visit. Do the same with shoes (Newborn to Youth 10), toys, books, maternity, and play equipment. If you have more than one (2’ x 1’ or 18 gallon size) bin of clothes, please send us a text message to 619-777-1123 to make an appointment for the next business day.
✅ Due to limited space in our store, we would need to automatically pass if you have clothing sizes that are not listed on our website https://thebabyresale.com/what-we-buy.html.
✅ Any single item that does not collapse or cannot be folded to fit in a 5 seater vehicle must send a photo to 619-777-1123 prior to bringing it in. We would like to make sure that we will have the space for it during your visit.
✅ We do try to purchase items from the past three years to stock our store with current styles. Our offers may be extremely low for items that are older than 3 years. Donations are accepted for items 5 years and older.
✅ Items we do not accept: Plush toys, bottles or feeding items, teethers or pacifiers, underwear & formula. (Unless new-in-the-box & never opened. Freshly laundered and lay clothing flat in tote, or laundry basket. We do NOT accept items in boxes, plastic or trash bags. STRICTLY NO TRASH BAGS. Lay sets on top of each other, do not pin or band together.
✅ We will sort through your items placing items we are passing on back into your tote, so you will get your tote back Please remember we are same day drop off & pick up. All items not picked up or finalized an hour before our store closes will be considered a donation.
✅ Our offer will vary depending on your item's condition, style and our store demand. We may offer you cash, trade, clothes credit or store credit.
✅ Store credit can be used towards anything in the store that are not pink or yellow marked. Clothing credit can be used towards clothes only, costumes and shoes not included. Trade credit can be used towards anything in the store within the same day.

SELLING OUTRIGHT CLOTHES
Boys & Girls as well as Maternity clothing/accessories - Sizes 0 - 10yrs. We buy clothes by the lot (minimum 12 pieces) only. (Please call us at 619-777-1123 to know sizes we are currently accepting). TOYS -Anything that kids play with. Must be in clean and good working condition, all pieces and batteries (if needed) must be included. BABY GEAR -Anything that will make a child's life fun or a parent's life easier. Items should be clean, free from stains or signs of over-usage. All parts and pieces should also accompany the item. NURSERY & KIDS FURNITURE - Includes cribs, toy chest, toy organizers, etc. CAR SEATS -mainly Toddler Car Seats and Booster Car Seats. Infant car seats may be purchased with clothing or store credit only due to a very low demand.
CONSIGNMENT
Consignment is an option we offer to our customers so that they can get a better chance to get more for their items. As long as the items are in very good condition, there's no work to be done on our part and the sale price of your item is over $50, you can get up to 50% of the final sale price. No hold on your money. You can pick it up at anytime. Just simply call us to check on the status of your consignment. As soon as your item sells, you will receive a courtesy call from us to let you know that your money is available for you to pick up. Depending on our inventory level, we will determine the amount of days we will put your item on our sales floor. You can also name your own asking price but, we will only keep your item for 30 days or less depending on the item.
